Sometimes you want something salty and spicy, but it’s healthy and easy to prepare. For example, pickled cucumbers are perfect for fulfilling such contradictory desires. But buying store-bought ones or making them the traditional hot way with vinegar is, of course, not an option. And this simple recipe is an excellent raw food alternative. It turns out aromatic, tasty, crispy and fast.

- cucumbers – 3 pcs.
- dill greens – 1 bunch
- garlic – 3-4 cloves
- lemon juice – 3 tbsp.
- sea salt – ½ tsp.
Cooking method:
Wash the cucumbers and dry with a napkin. Cut into thin rounds.
Finely chop the dill and garlic.
Place everything in a liter jar. Add salt and lemon juice. Close the lid.
Shake the jar for 30 seconds. Place in the refrigerator overnight. For a more pickled taste, you can add a bay leaf, 2-3 black peppercorns, 1-2 clove buds to the jar and leave the jar for 2-3 days.
These wonderful live pickles can be eaten as an appetizer or used in soups, salads and sauces.
