Juices for the liver

Juices provide the body with nutrients necessary for liver detoxification. It should be mostly green (vegetable) and a small amount of sweet, fruit juices.

Juice the following fruit and vegetable combinations. All these juices should be consumed immediately.

GREEN JUICE
Ingredients:
2 green apples
3 stalks of celery
a pair of lettuce leaves
a quarter of a head of cabbage
1 head of broccoli
half a medium cucumber
half a lemon.

APPLE AND CABBAGE JUICE
Ingredients:
2 apples
half a medium cucumber
1 cabbage leaf
230 g white or red radish slices
1 lemon, peeled (for taste only).

JUICE FROM APPLES, GINGER, LEMON AND SPINACH
Ingredients:
2 green apples
piece of ginger 1-2 cm long
1 lemon, peeled
230 g spinach leaves.

JUICE FROM CARROTS, BEET AND CABBAGE
Ingredients:
2 medium carrots
a quarter of a head of white cabbage
1 small beet
230 g watercress leaves or any other green salad.

FENNEL AND APPLE JUICE
Ingredients:
2 green apples
2 heads fennel, cucumber or celery
half a peeled lemon.

CUCUMBER, CABBAGE AND PARSLEY JUICE
Ingredients:
1 medium cucumber, peeled if non-organic
500 g chopped white cabbage
230 g parsley
half a peeled lemon.

PINEAPPLE, LIME AND FRESH MINT JUICE
Ingredients:
500-700 g pineapple slices
1 lime or lemon, peeled
60 g fresh mint for taste.
