USEFUL PHALI

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup walnuts
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • bunch of cilantro
  • bunch of beet tops (green part only) or spinach
  • 2 tsp lemon juice

Preparation:
Place the nuts in a food processor (meat grinder), grind roughly, add roughly chopped cilantro, finely chopped garlic, salt, lemon juice, grind a little more. Add beet tops and grind until it becomes a paste. Traditionally, pkhali is decorated with pomegranate seeds.
