Mayonnaise made from flaxseed flour.
Ingredients:
- 2 tbsp. l. flaxseed flour
- 60 ml. water
- 125 ml. vegetable oil;
- 1-2 tsp. mustard;
- 2 tbsp. lemon juice;
- pink salt and a little honey to taste.
Preparation:
- Pour water into flaxseed flour and heat slightly. Stir constantly until it thickens.
- Leave to cool until it reaches room temperature.
- Add a little honey and pink salt, and beat in a blender, gradually pouring in vegetable oil.
Try not to add more than a tablespoon of oil at a time. - When the mixture acquires the texture of mayonnaise, add lemon juice, mustard, salt and honey to taste.
- Flaxseed mayonnaise is ready. It is a little darker in color than store bought, but much tastier.
Use it in dishes like any other mayonnaise!
